Danish rosewood dining table with 2 Extension Leaves, 1960s

Designer unknown to us.

A wonderful large rosewood dining table with 2 extension leaves. The table is structurally perfect and strong by design although, as clear in the photographs, the main table top has been bleached by the sun light. As the extending leaves have seen little use there is a color difference between the table’s main top and leaves.

It sits 6 people comfortably and when the extension leaves are being used you could easily fit 10/12 persons.
Elegantly tapering solid rosewood legs and frame. The table extends by simply lifting the ends and pulling out the extension leaves stored underneath the central piece.

Length: 149cm/245cm
Height: 74cm
