Lloyd Loom easy chair

Extremely rare easy chair designed by Lloyd Loom and made by LUSTY.

The Lloyd Loom process was invented in 1917 by the American Marshall B. Lloyd, who twisted kraft paper round a metal wire, placed the paper threads on a loom and wove them into what was to become the traditional Lloyd Loom fabric.

This chair was produced somewhere in between 1951-1968. It has a part metal, part wooden frame, wooden armrest and plywood sides wich show the lines of the chair perfectly. It also has small feet wich adjust to the angle of the floor.

You can clearly see the influences of designers like Jean Prouvé and Alf Svensson. This chair would be a perfect addition to any home!

In perfect original vintage condition!
