Slate coffee table with inlay pieces designed by Paul Reiner Kingma in 1965 – Holland.
This early piece of artwork was made to last. The artist wanted to make timeless pieces that would last for ages.
His mosaic tables are made from concrete reinforced pieces of slate and fossilized pieces of wood and gemstones.
From 1968 on wards he made and sold these tables on demand. Prior to 1968 he only made the tables for friends and family. So this early 1965 piece was made for someone special!
You could be that new someone special….
90cm. square.
In very good original condition!
Hand signed and dated in the concrete bottom.
