Meet ‘SCRUFFY’…

Scruffy is a very unusual taxidermy umbrella stand. We traced it back to the United Kingdom. It is supposed to be a victorian oddity.  A conversation piece as you will.

Since it has some real age to it…it has suffered a little bit of damage. We think it only adds to it’s charme. There are some bold spots and pieces of ear missing. Cracks and tears to the skin.

The enameled cast iron base runs through the body and connects the paws of the badger.

The badger itself might even be an albino. Either that, or the hairs lost their color over the years.

All in all a great piece!
